When people need replacement windows, they usually just order something to match what they had without even considering other options. Why not try something new? Different types of windows are optimized for different locations in your home, light transmission, home style, and room use. - Awning windows CT - This is a good style for skylights! Awning windows also look good near picture windows if you want some fresh air to go along with the natural light.
- Bay windows CT - Great for a window seat or nook. Surrounding one picture window with a casement window on each side lets you enjoy some sunlight and fresh air.
- Bow windows CT - If a corner of your home provides nice views in two directions, wrap around bow windows are great! They are also good for other areas where you want wide windows.
- Picture windows CT - Picture windows can be quite large, and you won't necessarily want to cover them up with window treatments, so confine them to north or east facing walls to prevent fabrics from fading, or keep the apholstery to a minimum in rooms with large picture windows.
