Full Kitchen Remodel in Meriden, CT: New Upper and Lower Cabinets with Expanded Storage

Replacing both upper and lower cabinets is often the most effective way to add storage and improve how a kitchen works. New cabinets let you rethink where items are stored, from everyday dishes to pots and pantry goods. In this Meriden kitchen, new Wellborn Premier cabinets in the Divinity door style were installed to expand storage throughout the space. Because cabinets also set the overall style, they are usually one of the first selections homeowners make.

Wellborn Premier is a cabinet line made by Wellborn Cabinet, a United States cabinet manufacturer. Within each line, homeowners choose a door style and finish to match the look they want. This project used the Divinity door style for both the upper and lower cabinets. Our team can show you Wellborn options and other cabinet selections at our Design Center and Showroom in Meriden, which is open by appointment.

Laminate can be a good countertop choice for homeowners who want an attractive surface at a more budget friendly price point. Modern laminate comes in many patterns, including wood looks like the Wilsonart Pasadena Oak used in this kitchen. Laminate is easy to clean with mild soap and water. Using cutting boards and trivets helps protect the surface, since laminate can be damaged by knives and direct heat from hot pans.

Yes, windows and doors can be replaced as part of a kitchen remodel, and doing so keeps the whole room consistent.
