I had used them several years ago for my siding and windows and was very happy with their communication, correspondence, professionalism , care and finished results. A few days later Yancy Barton arrived at my house for a quote and to show me samples. Yancy was a pleasure to do business with! I would strongly recommend Fiderio and sons mainly because they “stand by their work” and honor their warranties without any hassel.

Everything is paid attention too so nothing goes unnoticed.

For over 4 years we had wanted to change our damaged/ugly aluminum siding to vinyl and make the house pop more and look better while enjoying time outside during the summer. Fiderio and Sons worked with us in the beginning to go over material and prices. At the time we couldn’t make the commitment but they were patience and worked with us to get everything perfect years later. Double Bathroom Remodel - 5 Star Experience

Bathroom Remodel- Fiderio’s just finished up on 2 full bathroom remodels for us. We would recommend them and we wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. From John coming in to quote the job and help us select everything to Jefferson, Sergio, Phil & Bryan project manager on the job, everyone was great. We are very happy with our finished project. Everyone was professional, courteous, friendly and did good work. During a time after pandemic materials can be a problem but Fiderio’s came through, any little challenges that came up were resolved. First Bathroom old tub insert changed to a walk-in shower with glass doors, new toilet, new floors, new sink & counter top and some drywall repair. Love the finished job. 2nd was our master bedroom bath, required remove very large jetted tub, gutting some of walls and floor, added in new plumbing to add toilet, new toilet install, install new tub plumbing & deep soaking alcove tub with tile surround, new sink with vanity top, new fan, beautiful tile floor, drywall work too. The change is amazing and very happy. We Want to give Jefferson a lot of credit – 5 stars, he was on the job everyday, he did so much work on his own and can’t speak highly enough about him and his work ethic. I want to compliment and thank the staff for a flawless and beautiful addition to our home in Prospect.  From the onset, calling the office and speaking with Margaretann, I knew I was on the right path. She was wonderful to speak with, information and a agreat sense of humor as well. Margaretann scheduled our initial appointment with Matt D. to discuss the renovation and share ideas. Matt was beyond great and we agreed on a plan and price. The construction phase was as flawless as a project can progress. Jerry and Chris with thier skill and personality astonished my wife and I. They were here when they said they would be, on time and through the whole project they worked hard.  Paul, our project manager arrived on a regular basis and he oversaw the progress and quality of the job….We have nothing buy praise for Fiderio and Sons!  The jobsite was left spotless and even our neighbors noticed.

Going The Extra Mile

Fiderio completed a renovation of my mother’s bathroom from a 1970’s style to a modern one with senior accommodations – they did this with utmost professionalism, friendliness and at very good value. Further, about one year later, when my mother required another grab bar, because of her deteriorating physical condition, they went above and beyond in obtaining and installing the bar which was needed within a tight deadline. I live in the midwest, about 1000 miles away, and coordinated this with Fiderio. Their office manager, Margaretann, ensured my request reached the expert, David Laferriere, who had worked on the original installation, then David who happened to be on vacation, called me the next day to ensure his personnel located the grab bar [the last available in their warehouse], then installed it in time for my mother to use it, upon her return from the hospital – truly special!

I called Fiderio & Sons for an estimate on a rather small job and the owner John Fiderio showed up to assess the needs. He could have offered me a contract with a fixed, and probably higher price, but after reviewing what needed to be done he said it would be cheaper for me if the job was done on a time and materials basis. This worked out extremely well. They showed up right when they said they would and finished in a reasonable time. I worked out to be a great solution. I highly recommend them. You will get quality work at a fair price, backed by the word of the owner!

Nothing but GREAT things to say about Fiderio & Sons. From the beginning, they have been very professional, easy to work with, and very accommodating. Jonathan Fiderio was very polite and not pushy like a lot of sales people. Their showroom may seem small from the outside, but inside, they have tons of samples of tiles, flooring, cabinets, and other fixtures to look at (they even have a secret door to the downstairs that’s behind a bookshelf – my 4 year old loved that!). The carpenters and other people from Fiderio & Sons working on our bathrooms are extremely nice and doing a great job. If they have questions on how we want something done in the bathrooms, they ask before doing it so it’s done correctly the first time. I would highly recommend Fiderio & Sons to anyone looking for someone to do renovations and remodeling in their house.

Sometimes a small job is the hardest of them all. Who really wants to pick up another company’s mistake. I can’t say enough about Mike (salesman) and how he went above and beyond for me in finding my old discontinued siding and being so extremely patient with me and my issues. Mario just completed the siding replacement yesterday by piecing the old and new siding on two sides of my house. What a fantastic job. I will recommend Fiderio in the future because of Mike. I can’t say enough about his service.

The Fiderio workers were awesome. Mark was incredibly diligent and helpful and worked to make the customer happy with their choices and including me in the process. I am not happy with the electrical subcontractor as he was unapproachable and seems to always be in a hurry. We still have work left to do not that area. In addition, the cabinet doors need adjustment so that when opened they don’t hit the drawers and my curtain rod needs to be put back. We have been assured that these will be taken care of. Otherwise I am very satisfied!

This is our second experience with Fiderio. They did a sizable exterior remodel of our home three years ago with a new roof, window, and front door, and constructed a large portico/porch for the front entry. The remodel elevated the look of our house from builders grade to ho-hum colonial to unique and classy. They were our first choice of contractor this year for replacement windows. Ron from Fiderio was assigned to the project as the installer. He did a great job and was very courteous and professional. He left the job site very clean and neat each day.

Super company to deal with!

From start to finish, Fiderio staff and installation crew showed great professionalism and craftsmanship with this entry door project. Even with this small project, Mike worked with me in choosing doors, color and hardware. When the doors came in, they were installed quickly, but also paying attention to detail and caulked seams and gaps between door frame and brick surrounding the doors. The area was cleaned up nicely and we had a beautiful new entry door system! I will call on them again for any projects for our business or our home!

Latest project was a front door unit with sidelights, a storm door, and an upstairs octagon window installation. We trust Fidero to do work with perfection. We used Fiderio for 2 re-mods on our house. The first was an update to the master bathroom, including a new frameless shower. We were so satisfied with the workmanship we used Fiderio for a full kitchen makeover including hardwood cabinets and granite countertops. Again, great workmanship and timely completion. When our son was looking to do a replacement for his deck in Southington, we recommended and he used Fiderio. Again, good results and a super cleanup of the old deck. This was our second experience with Fiderio. They had done a kitchen remodel for us in a previous house. Increased the value and sold at higher price when we moved. A few years ago Fiderio & Sons did a 3 story addition for us – 2 bedrooms, spare room, sunroom and exercise room. Couldn’t be happier. Worked through dead of winter and finished very efficiently. I had to coordinate from Florida with Fiderio’s for the siding, window and door installation on my parents’ house. After the job was priced, they started the job in the timeframe provided. Did a clean and neat installation, and followed-up on any questions that I had after the installation. It’s hard to work with a contractor remotely but they were very professional and I would recommend them to anyone in the area!

We had our bathroom remodeled about a year ago. Fiderio has been fantastic with small issues that have come up, (not their fault). They have a great staff and always fix the issue without cost. We are happy to recommend them.

Fiderio re-mods (2)

Fiderio did a complete bathroom re-mod for us in 2013. We were so impressed we had them do a kitchen re-mod in 2014. This led us to further recommend them to our son in Southington who had Fiderio do a complete re-make of his 15’x25′ deck. Now in 2016 we have Fiderio doing another project for us— new carpeting for our 10-month porch. Our satisfaction with Fiderio lies in their ability to finish on time, within budget, and always with a great cleanup at the end. We have found their craftsmen to be very qualified and personable.
